What was the most difficult part?

What was the most difficult part?

Getting to a point of satisfaction! I wanted to make sure that it was the very best I could do. Every time I visited the manuscript I found something that could be improved and I expect people reading the finished article will think there are still plenty that can be better! I am happy that it’s my best shot. I also wavered for a while deciding whether I should try to find a publisher and I did make some half-hearted attempts to do so.

Eventually, as I had already found a super local printer, I decided to self-publish and then I was introduced to Michelle Stannard, a digital marketing wizard, who was immediately enthusiastic about the Book and so we are now working together to see how far we can take it.

I think, though, that the most difficult part has still to comer and that will be to try to persuade people to buy it! I have posted extracts on Facebook from time to time and the feedback has always been really positive. However, it is one thing writing nice words that cost nothing but quite another for someone to invest their hard earned money in a copy of The Corporate Menagerie.
